Robert's latest record Never Let The Truth Get In The Way Of A Good Story is now out on Bluebird Café Berlin Records. TRUTH was co produced by Robert and Australian music master Fred Wehr at his studios in Perth.
Among the album's 14 songs are 12 originals, two of them cowrites with author and journalist Jeffrey Fleishman, plus songs by Wayne Grajeda and Rick Reiley. The instrumental and vocal session work on the record was provided by a host of veteran studio and touring musicians, as well as some talented newcomers.

Robert's Chicken Street EP, released in 2020, presents three songs that were recorded with Sri Lankan world music master Ramesh B. Weeratunga at this MachNow studio in Berlin, Germany. These sessions from August and September 2016 mark the final work in a long collaborative relationship between Robert and Ramesh, who died in 2017. The EP's title track is also the final collaboration between Robert and his song writing partner, the late great John Vaughan.
